The team are pleased to share that we have won the 2024 Generation Next Start-Up Award. Generation Next is a branch of East Midlands Chamber of Commerce, that promotes and encourages the professional development of the under 35s.
The programme celebrates young talent in the region and Lucy Robinson, the chamber’s director of resources and Generation Next lead, said: “The level of talent this year among all the winners and entrants was just off the scale. It’s tremendous to see the ingenuity of young people across the East Midlands."
12 awards were presented, covering a wide range of business areas such as innovation, creativity and customer service at Derby’s vibrant Bustler Market.
TV presenter and BT Broadcast Journalist Kirsty Shelts hosted the event, while a range of speakers included Generation Next Vice Chair Scarlett Canavan. East Midlands Chamber President Stuart Dawkins addressed the audience at the opening of the ceremony, while High Sheriff of Derbyshire Ian Morgan OBE spoke of the importance of future leaders in the region.
The team at Stephen Eve are delighted to have won the Start-Up Award as it 'recognises new businesses – established in the past five years – which have achieved consistent growth backed by strong performance under the leadership of a young, dynamic team.'
