Welcoming Rav Jackson, the new addition to the Stephen Eve Financial Planning team. As an experienced business support colleague, Rav joins us as a Trainee Paraplanner, where we will help him take the next steps in his wealth management career.
Rav will be working closely with Ben on client reports, investment research, administration, and more. We're supporting him through the CII Aspire Financial Adviser Apprenticeship, where he will study for the CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, a great accolade in our industry.
He joins us following a career at The RU Group and Cockburn Lucas Financial so has plenty of experience to bring to the table!

Similar to the majority of people in the Financial Services industry, I 'fell' into it. If you had asked me, during my A Levels, what industry I'd see myself in, Financial Services wouldn't have cropped up. I didn't even realise it existed! Funnily enough, it was a conversation with Ben Slater that piqued my interests and really turned my attention to the industry and I've not looked back since. I've worked for two other successful Wealth Management firms and loved my time there.
It was a no-brainer for me. I consider Ben & Danielle family; having known them personally for a very long time. From a professional perspective, they both have a wealth of knowledge and mindsets that are fundamental to a successful business. Clients' best interests are always at the forefront of everything they do - an ethos that I very much agree with and hold myself to. It's certainly an environment where I can and will flourish and I hope to become a valuable member of the team.
I’d like to build and sustain client relationships and ultimately help clients accomplish their financial goals. From a personal perspective, the big aspiration is to become a Financial Adviser and Stephen Eve provides me with a great platform to achieve this.
Fortunately, I have had the opportunity to work with some incredible people during my time within Financial Services; of which, many have influenced my journey immeasurably. In terms of the way I approach my work, however, I think this very much comes from within. I will always endeavour to complete my work with meticulous care and try to put myself in the clients’ shoes as much as possible.
I could list various exams or internal accolades but, for me, the greatest accomplishment is receiving gratitude from clients. It’s rewarding to know that our job can truly make a difference.
Outside of work, I spend the majority of my time being active, whether that’s playing football or going to the gym. I try and spend as much time with friends and family as possible, too!
I’ve learned to enjoy every moment because sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.
